Terms & Conditions AAG Pakistan

Alpine Adventure Guides Pakistan is a responsible and registered tourism company operating under the tourism act of Pakistan. We accept bookings under the following terms and conditions:

01. Payment and Refund Policy

Once your trip is confirmed, you must provide a scanned copy of one passport-sized photo and your passport. A 25% non-refundable down payment of the total price is required to secure your booking, which will cover domestic flight tickets, hotel bookings, and trekking permits. Clients are responsible for any bank service charges. The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Pakistan before the tour begins.

02. Supplement Charge

Our packages are based on twin-sharing accommodations. If you require a single room and there is no participant available to share, a single supplement charge will apply.

03. Incomplete Tour

No refunds will be provided for any unused portions of the itinerary if the client decides to drop out during the journey.

04. Unforeseen Circumstances

If Alpine Adventure Guides Pakistan cancels your trip due to unforeseen situations such as war, natural disasters, or unfavorable weather, we will offer an alternative trip of a similar standard. If it does not suit your preferences, the amount paid will be refunded. However, the company is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by you.

05. Risk & Responsibility

Your safety is our top priority. While we strive to ensure a smooth journey, unforeseen events like landslides, road blockages, sickness, or flight cancellations may occur. In such cases, any additional costs must be borne by the client on-site.

06. Travel Conditions

We strive to provide comfortable travel arrangements. However, facilities in Pakistan’s remote areas may differ from those in Western countries, and the weather may also impact your journey. Therefore, preparation, patience, and enthusiasm are essential for a smooth experience.

07. Travel Insurance

Alpine Adventure Guides provides insurance for staff and local porters only. Clients must purchase their own comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, helicopter evacuations, and other unforeseen events.

08. Tour/Trek Amendments

If any changes are required in the itinerary, please inform us in advance. Occasionally, itinerary changes may occur due to factors like weather, and we appreciate your flexibility in such cases.

09. Personal Belongings

While our team will do their best to safeguard your luggage, we are not responsible for any loss or damage to belongings carried by porters, ponies, or vehicles. Clients are advised to purchase comprehensive insurance.

10. Required Documents

All essential documents must be submitted on time to obtain necessary permits and visas. We are not responsible for any delays caused by missing or incomplete paperwork.

12. Flight Delays or Cancellations

Flights to Gilgit-Baltistan are weather-dependent. If your flight is delayed or canceled, we will arrange alternative surface transportation.

13. Safety in Pakistan

Gilgit-Baltistan is a safe region to visit. Despite negative portrayals by some media, it is as safe as any hometown, with no significant crime or threats to travelers.

Alpine Adventure Guides provides transportation, accommodation, meals, and services as per the itinerary. However, in case of delays or cancellations, clients are responsible for additional costs.
